Accident Insurance

UNUM is Rendr’s Accident Insurance provider. Accident Insurance pays you cash for specific injuries and events resulting from a covered accident. The amount paid depends on the type of injury and care received. For a list of qualified claims please visit the benefits website.

Hospital Indemnity Insurance

Rendr’s Hospital Indemnity Plan, through UNUM pays a cash benefit of $1,000 if you are admitted to the hospital and confined for at least 20 consecutive hours. It then pays a daily confinement cash benefit of $100 per day to a maximum of 180 days per year, per insured. Hospital admissions for childbirth or inpatient mental wellness and addiction recovery also trigger your base cash benefits. If you are admitted to an ICU, your daily confinement cash benefit is doubled.

*Major medical coverage is required in order to be eligible for coverage under the Accident, Critical Illness, or Hospital Indemnity Plans in the state of New York.
**The employee must be enrolled in these plans (Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity) in order to enroll their spouse or child(ren).

Critical Illness

UNUM also administers Rendr’s Critical Illness Insurance. Critical Illness Insurance pays cash benefits of up to $30,000 for employees and $30,000 for spouses for the most common, serious health events. You can choose your cash benefit amount when you enroll in the program.

Your maximum benefit amount renews annually. You can claim cash benefits for new diagnoses if you experience any additional covered health events from the list below. This plan also offers a $50 wellness benefit for completing certain annual and preventive exams. For a list of qualified conditions please visit the benefits website.
